Short version

Daish is a local-first desktop app. Your memos live only on your own Mac. Our servers cannot see them.

Where data lives

Memos and events → ~/Library/Application Support/com.daish.app/

Logs and settings sit in the same directory — inspect, back up, or delete anytime.

LLM calls

When LLM is enabled, Daish sends your input to the provider you configured. With your own API key, the request goes directly to OpenAI / Anthropic / DeepSeek — bypassing our servers.

With Daish-hosted LLM, the request goes through our Edge Function which forwards to upstream. We record token counts for billing and do not persist your input.

Account

Sign-in is optional, required only for announcements, update notifications, and hosted LLM. We only store your email — nothing else.
